What this is
Bright Streak is a free website with twelve browser games and a daily strand of three of them. It is meant for short breaks: a minute for the Spark, a few minutes for the Puzzle and the Venture. There are no accounts, adverts, analytics or third-party scripts.
The games run entirely in your browser. Puzzles that need heavy work, such as the numbered logic grids, are prepared in advance and arrive ready to play.
How the games are made
Logic grids are generated by programs that check every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by reasoning at its stated difficulty. Picture puzzles only deal positions that can be solved. The darts and bowling games run on a physics simulation that gives the same result for the same throw on every device.
The pictures were painted for this site with an image model and are not reused elsewhere. The other graphics are drawn by code.
